GreenCap is delighted to announce that it acted as exclusive M&A advisor to Octopus Energy Generation on the acquisition of the Lüben onshore wind farm from experienced German developer Energiequelle. Lüben has a capacity of 21.3 MW and is located in the state of Lower Saxony, north of Wolfsburg. It comprises five Enercon E-138 EP3E3 turbines with a capacity of 4.26 MW each. Octopus acquired the project at RTB stage in March 2026. Construction is managed by Energiequelle,with COD expected to be reached in the first half of 2027.
