GreenCap is delighted to announce that it acted as exclusive M&A advisor to Octopus Energy Generation on the acquisition of the Niederasphe onshore wind farm. The project was acquired from established German developer UKA. Niederasphe, with a capacity of 28.5MW, is located in the state of Hesse, north of Marburg. It consists of five Nordex N163/5.X (5.7 MW) turbines that were acquired under a forward COD structure. The transaction was agreed at start of construction, with closing and transfer of the project occurring when Niederasphe reached COD in March 2026.
