GreenCap is delighted to announce that it acted as exclusive M&A advisor to Octopus Energy Generation on the acquisition of the Görzig onshore wind farm. The project was acquired from seasoned German developer UKA. Görzig has a capacity of 20.4 MW and is located in the state of Brandenburg, approximately halfway between Berlin and Cottbus. It comprises three modern Nordex N163/6.X turbines, each with a capacity of 6.8 MW. The transaction was structured as an acquisition at COD and closed in January 2026.
